2-Day Intensive Qualified Electrical Worker
The same 2027-edition qualified electrical worker training as the one-day class, and then a second day the one-day class does not have room for: group exercises, scenario-based evaluations, and your crew building a risk assessment on their own equipment. Onsite at your facility, or as a private live virtual session.

When the second day earns its place
Both classes qualify the same people and cover the same standard. The difference is not coverage, it is practice. One day transfers the knowledge. Two days give the room enough time to apply it badly once, in front of an instructor, which is where the learning actually happens.
If your electricians fill out energized work permits and job safety plans rather than receiving them completed, they need to have written some under supervision. Day two is where that happens.
You have labels, a study and incident energy values specific to your gear. Day two works the risk assessment against your own equipment rather than a generic example.
People being qualified for the first time, or moving from a helper role to working on equipment. The practice day is the difference between recognizing a boundary on a slide and judging one in a room.
When the finding was about work practices rather than paperwork, repeating a lecture rarely moves it. Observed exercises produce something an auditor can look at.
The people who approve the work benefit most from watching the crew reason through a scenario out loud, and from being challenged on the approvals they give.
If one of these people will eventually carry the program internally, the depth on day two is the groundwork for that.
The two days
Day one
Qualified electrical worker, 2027 edition
Everything in the 1-Day class, taught the same way: the program and who is qualified, the four hazards, risk assessment, approach boundaries, PPE selection, establishing an electrically safe work condition, permits and job briefings, and the documentation that proves it.
Day two
Applied to your equipment and your paperwork
The crew builds a risk assessment on a piece of your own equipment, writes an energized electrical work permit for a real task and has it challenged, runs a job briefing with the standby person and the emergency plan in it, and works scenario evaluations in small groups. We close with your written program and procedures against the 2027 text.

Before you book
Send us your arc flash study, a few labels and your permit form a week ahead. Day two is built on them. If you have none of those yet, say so; that is useful information and we plan the day differently.
